Hunt for it! Find Prismagic in a Panoramic tour of {9} The Gallery!

A year ago I was thrilled to be part of {9} The Gallery’s 3 year anniversary show “She Deck” – a showing of 50 skateboards designed by 50 women artists of Arizona. How rad is that?! Here’s the board I did, which sold!

Press Release – Local Arizona Artist designs a new ‘coloring book for adults’ – “Prismagic”

Local Arizona Artist designs a new ‘coloring book for adults’ called “Prismagic”

Prismagic Books will donate 1 book to hospitals serving veterans, children with cancer, and an Alzheimer’s Institute for every 1 book purchased in December & January

Prismagic Books is Giving Free Coloring Books Alzheime PatientsPhoenix , AZ, December 1, 2015– Phoenix artist Skye Lucking has created a coloring book geared toward relaxation and stress relief – “Prismagic – Coloring Book for Adults, Positive Mantra Edition”.  Skye has been drawing and painting all her life for fun and relaxation. Now, with the trend in adults coloring books gaining in popularity, she wants to share the therapeutic benefits of creativity with others.

“We live in stressful times, so it makes me very happy to see people embracing coloring and art therapy to relax and reduce anxiety. The idea behind “Prismagic” is to quite literally spread positive messages. I’ve included positive mantras such as “I am amazing.” and “I feel calm and relaxed.” beneath the coloring images to give people a positive message to think about while coloring, which is already a relaxing pursuit in itself.”

Recognizing the therapeutic benefits of coloring, Lucking will also be donating one coloring book to Phoenix based children’s cancer hospitals, Veterans Administration hospitals, and an Alzheimer’s Institute for every one book purchased online or at retail locations.

“Prismagic – Coloring Book for Adults” can be found on the website: http://www.prismagicbooks.com  on Skye Lucking’s Etsy Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SkyeLucking and on Amazon.com .
